FPC INFORMATION:
James Reading / Notes: Scott needs a favor. He's been asked to lead a study of the Letter of James during Lent. This has turned into a writing project. He's very excited about it, but he needs your help. Would you be willing to read James, between now and December 31, and share with him your observations and questions? Anything and everything is welcome. Sincerely! No observation or question is too small, irrelevant, foolish, or off-limits. The more he gets, the better! Please share your observations and questions in writing so they aren't forgotten or overlooked. Feel free to text, email, or leave a note in his mailbox. You're welcome to remain anonymous if you prefer. Thank you!
Advent Book Club: Please join Scott for an Advent Book Club on Zoom. We'll be discussing Kara Eidson's The Advent Tree: Meeting Jesus in God’s Big Story. We'll meet at 7p on Tuesdays through Jan 6th! CONTACT LINDSAY FOR THE CODE ON ZOOM. This is not a class; just a conversation. It’s Book Club!

FUTURE EVENTS:
Join Us for a screening and discussion on the film, “Evicting The American Dream" At FPC Adrian. Saturday, January 17, 6p-8p.
Evicting the American Dream amplifies the voices and stories of children and families confronting eviction and homelessness. Through additional interviews with pediatric psychologists, social workers, tenant rights organizations, housing authority officials, and eviction lawyers, this film explores the root causes and systemic issues that perpetuate this epidemic. Often when we hear the words ‘homelessness’ and ‘eviction’, there is a dominant narrative that says: “There is nothing we can do to prevent this from happening.” This film seeks to reframe, humanize, and transform how the wider public understands eviction and homelessness and the ways in which this is preventable.
