HAPPENING:

January 13 "AN UNSUNG WORLD WAR II HERO" Led by: Susan Keezer, with thanks to Christian Education! Please mark January 13, 2026, 6:00pm for a special talk about an Englishman whose own family had no idea of what he did during the war. Winter it may be, but this story will warm your heart—I promise!

January 17th Film Screening: 6pm - Join Dr. Scott Elliott & Panel to view the Film "Evicting the American Dream" & have a discussion after. Evicting the American Dream amplifies the voices and stories of children and families confronting eviction and homelessness. Through additional interviews with pediatric psychologists, social workers, tenant rights organizations, housing authority officials, and eviction lawyers, this film explores the root causes and systemic issues that perpetuate this epidemic. Often when we hear the words ‘homelessness’ and ‘eviction’, there is a dominant narrative that says: “There is nothing we can do to prevent this from happening.” This film seeks to reframe, humanize, and transform how the wider public understands eviction and homelessness and the ways in which this is preventable.

College Care Packs: Care packages for our college kids will be going out around Valentine’s Day. Boxes for donations will be in the narthex, labeled. Donations are due by February 7th! so the kids can pack them during Sunday School. Suggested donations include: Candy (can be any, but Valentine’s themed would be fun!) Cookies,  toothbrushes, sticky notes, pens & pencils, hot cocoa packs, highlighters, etc. Be creative & have fun!! Valentine Cards made by you, your kiddos or grandkids would be a wonderful personal touch.

Maumee Jam - NO JAM in January or February due to weather / lack of participation.

February Diaper Drive w/ Great Start Family Coalition: During February, FPC will be a drop off location for the Diaper Drive that Great Start is hosting. More information coming!
