Mission Opportunity: Michigan Foster Care Closet

Who Are We?

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit taxable organization that provides new and like-new clothing, toys, shoes, and baby equipment to children placed in foster care. The Foster Care Closet is not a “One Stop” shop; foster families may use it as many times as the need arises at no cost.

How Do We Help?

We are operated 100% by volunteers; many of them foster families themselves. The rest are concerned community members who donate gently used items for babies through teens, donate financially for items that must be purchased new, helping with fundraising, or volunteering to assist with sorting donations.
